...they came around and asked us where we saw ourselves in ten years. I wrote down that I would more than likely be that sagely hobo that would offer wisdom and enlightenment in exchange for booze money. Well, I have good news! I'm one step closer to that goal! After not having a job for so long, I have used up the last of my money, and can no longer afford to live where I am now. I am, in fact, homeless, starting next week on Wednesday. As a result, I'm removing most of my dA stuff and re-working everything I have ever written to get prepared to turn it all into an editor or artist to see if any of it may be of some financial use to me.

In the meantime, I'll just keep looking for a job. I've been looking for a month now, and have handed out at least a hundred copies of my resume, but I have yet to get hired. While my wallet is indeed being thinned, I am still hopeful, though. I'll find something eventually, I'm sure, but I'm just not sure what it is I'll get. I only hope that I'll get a job soon, so I can start looking for a place to stay.

In other news, I recently met Christy Lijewski at Otakon, and she was kind enough to draw me up a sketch of Retrab and chat with an over-zealous fan for a bit. Quite nice of her, if you ask me, but I'm left wondering what the heck I've been doing while someone who doesn't look much older than myself could be so successful. My guess? I'm lazy, and she actually has talent.

Regardless,I'll be trying to update a lot more often. The first stop on my list of places to go while homeless is Holidaysburg, PA. I was there once before, and it was a grand place to visit. I'll try to hunt for a job around there, then work my way back to Maryland and then Virginia once again, just going to where the work is. Thanks to all of my watcher's support throughout this huge hiatus of mine while I've been job hunting. Who knows? Maybe getting evicted is going to seriously kick me back into "write fucking everything" mode.
